Once upon a time, in a big, green jungle, there lived a gentle elephant named Ellie. Ellie was big, strong, and loved to help her friends. She had many animal friends in the jungle, like the monkey, the parrot, the rabbit, and the tortoise.
One sunny day, Ellie was walking through the jungle when she saw her friend Monkey hanging from a tree. “Hi, Ellie!” said Monkey, swinging from branch to branch. “I need some help!”
Ellie smiled and said, “What do you need, Monkey?”
“I want to reach the juicy fruit at the top of this tall tree,” Monkey said, pointing up. “But I can’t climb as high as I want to!”
Ellie thought for a moment and then said, “No problem, I can help!” Ellie used her long, strong trunk to reach up and grab the fruit from the top of the tree. She gently handed it to Monkey, who smiled and ate it happily.
“Thank you, Ellie!” Monkey said. “You’re so strong and helpful!”
Later, Ellie was walking along the river when she heard a soft cry. It was her friend Rabbit, who was stuck on a rock in the middle of the river. “Ellie! Help! I can’t get across the river!” Rabbit said, looking worried.
Ellie quickly waded into the water with her big, strong legs. “Don’t worry, Rabbit. I’m here to help!” With one gentle step, Ellie picked up Rabbit on her back and carried him across the river to safety.
“Thank you, Ellie! You’re so kind and brave!” Rabbit said, giving Ellie a big hug.
As Ellie continued her walk, she saw Parrot sitting on a branch, looking a little sad. “What’s wrong, Parrot?” Ellie asked.
“I want to fly higher in the sky, but I’m afraid of the wind,” Parrot said. “It makes me feel nervous.”
Ellie thought for a moment and said, “Don’t worry, Parrot. I’ll stay with you and be your friend. You don’t need to be afraid.” Ellie stood next to Parrot, giving him comfort and support. Together, they watched the clouds, and soon, Parrot felt brave enough to fly a little higher.
“Thank you, Ellie! You’re always so encouraging!” Parrot said with a big smile.
As the sun began to set, Ellie met her friend Tortoise slowly making his way across the jungle path. “Hello, Tortoise! How are you today?” Ellie asked.
Tortoise smiled and said, “I’m doing well, but I’m a bit tired. It’s a long walk home.”
Ellie bent down and gently offered her back to Tortoise. “Why don’t you hop on? I can give you a ride home!”
Tortoise smiled and climbed onto Ellie’s back. “Thank you, Ellie! You’re such a good friend!”
That evening, Ellie thought about how lucky she was to have so many wonderful friends. She was big and strong, but it wasn’t just her strength that made her special. It was her kindness, her helpfulness, and the way she always looked out for her friends.
The jungle was a happy place because Ellie and her friends helped each other every day.
Moral of the Story: True friends always help each other, no matter how big or small, and being kind makes the world a better place.
