In The Five Love Languages<\/a>  <\/em>by Gary Chapman, we learn the remedy for all problems which modern couples face. Gary Chapman says, “The best way to communicate as love matures is to find your companion\u2019s love language.<\/strong>“<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key highlight of the book is Author’s description of Love Language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like in order to communicate with someone we need to know their language. Same way, to effectively communicate with your partner, we need to learn and speak the same love language as them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5 love languages are the different ways in which we express that we love someone.<\/strong> Here are 5 described by Chapman :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Words of Affirmation<\/strong>. Words of praise and encouragement are a powerful way to share love for someone. To speak this language, you give verbal compliments<\/strong><\/span> often. Make sure they know you love their smile, their sense of humor, or that new outfit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Quality Time<\/strong>. Work and busy lives can get in the way of this love language all too easily. We can be in the same room as our partner and still fail to actually \u2018be\u2019 with them because we are lost in our digital world. The key to quality time is undivided attention. It can either be quality conversations or quality activities with your partner, like date night.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Gift Giving<\/strong>. For some, gifts are a physical symbol of how their partner feels about them. Remember that it doesn\u2019t matter how much it costs; it\u2019s just the act of going out and getting or making a gift for your partner that will show them how you feel about them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Acts of Service<\/strong>. This is helping your partner with the things with which you know they would appreciate help. It can be things like helping the kids with homework, doing bills, or vacuuming, and will be different for everyone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Physical Touch<\/strong>. Even in infancy, humans need physical touch to thrive. We often forget, but this carries on into adulthood as well. Some ways you can express love in this way are holding hands, cuddling, kissing, or sex. Of course, find out what kinds of physical contact they like most, and this will deepen your intimacy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
